- Johns Manville SuperSeal® and SuperSeal® Edge Treatment products are just one more way we demonstrate to you that, in every detail, materials matter. SuperSeal is a derivative of our proprietary Permacote coating used in the factory application of airstream surface and edge coating for JM HVAC products. The products are designed to be air drying and may be brush or spray applied. SuperSeal provides superior product protection against microbial growth. Applications include factory and field repair or the coating of factory-cut surfaces.

System Integrity - Use of SuperSeal products maintains the physical characteristics and performance integrity of Johns Manville's high-performance, coated insulations ensuring compliance with local building codes and engineering specifications.
Will Not Support Microbial Growth - SuperSeal Coating Products incorporate an immobilized, EPA-registered, anti-microbial agent to protect the coating on the airstream surface from potential growth of fungus and bacteria as indicated by tests conducted in accordance with ASTM G21 and D-3273-00.
Meets Code Requirements - SuperSeal products meet the requirements of NFPA Standards 90A and 90B with surface burning characteristics of 25/50.
